Tungsten Scrap — questions answered.
Does Au Club buy tungsten scrap?
Yes. Au Club is an active buyer of tungsten carbide scrap (drills, inserts, end mills) and tungsten heavy-alloy scrap. Pricing is set against a percentage of the prevailing APT European assessment, adjusted for tungsten content and form factor. Sellers should contact Au Club with material specification, quantity, and location for a firm bid.
How is tungsten priced in 2026?
Tungsten is priced against the Fastmarkets MB APT European Warehouse assessment, denominated in USD per MTU (metric tonne unit, 10 kg WO3). Post-2024 China export controls and downstream demand from defence applications, the APT assessment has held above $390/MTU for most of 2025-26.
